Welcome to the home page of the Woodstock Elks Lodge 1043
Instituted on 24 October, 1906, our lodge has been serving the communities of McHenry County Illinois ever since.
We have created this site in order to better communicate with our members and the community. Here you can find information about the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and this lodge in particular. This includes information about our history, Elks charitable work, news about our activities, a calendar of upcoming events, and much more.
Use the menu on the left to browse through our history, programs, and news. You can also locate contact information, and links to other Elks sites. The calendar on the right contains information about our upcoming events.
Members of the lodge can register and log into the site for even more information.

Our lodge is located on the historic Woodstock, Illinois town square, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Founded in 1844 Woodstock was first named Centerville but that name was changed a year later. You can still find several 19th century buildings on the square including the famed Woodstock Opera House and the original court house. Woodstock is also where the movie "Ground Hog Day" with Bill Murray was filmed. Visiting Woodstock is like taking a step back in time.

The lodge is located at the top left-hand (north-west) corner of this satelite view of Woodstock's square.
Thanks for Visiting!
