Local Student is a Finalist in the ENF Scholarship Competition
Congratulations to Fiona Weeks of Huntley for being chosen by the Illinois Elks Association to move up to the national level in the Most Valuable Student scholarship competition.
Fiona was chosen by our lodge as one of six students whose application merited submission to the IEA for their evaluation, and the IEA has decided to send Fiona’s application on to the Grand Lodge.
Fiona will be competing for scholarships worth anywhere from $8,000.00 to $60,000.00 paid over a four year period. But even if she doesn’t win one of those she will receive a $4,000.00 scholarship.
